Is it advisable to join the 1st-batch of BA (humanities) of Manipal University's Centre for Philosophy and Humanities?

I am waiting for the result of CBSE board class 12 (humanities). I am interested in European especially in ancient Greek and Viking's history and want to go to Europe for PG in these areas. Manipal has an MA in European studies and offers scholarships too.
