AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) is a government body that regularly evaluates technical institutions in India for departments such as engineering, IT and MBA. It's affiliation provides a college with guidance and recommendations under the Department of Higher Education. Some MBA courses in Bangalore are AICTE accredited such as that of AIMS.
