Is it bad to join LPU for B.Tech in CSE; is LPU good for CSE?

Dear Sameeksha, I strongly recommend LPU for the CSE programme. It has a very good curriculum and placement. My cousin did B.Tech in CSE and got placed in an MNC. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. What to me makes any college good or bad for any course are three things which elaborates the quality of education and training rendered by that institution. 1. University / Institution Ranking 2. Placement opportunity 3. Curriculum and exposure. When it comes to assess LPU, it creates its own Mark of Excellence in the world of Academia. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University Engineering School is in the Top 100, Management School in the Top 50, and Pharmacy School in the Top 30 institutions of India. Thousands of LPU students have got placed in top MNCs and are working all over the Globe. The highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student MS Tanya Arora is 42 LPA for batch 2020 by Microsoft. Students are placed in AMAZON at a package of 28 LPA. Rs. 24 LPA for B.Tech/M.Tech CSE by Optmyzr. Rs. 80,000 per month as the highest Internship Stipend Availed by LPU Student (Summer Internship with Microsoft). Almost every MNC visit LPU to recruit students with an average package of 6.12 LPA. Looking about all these things I would definitely suggest LPU. And the facts are here for reference. Curriculum: All the subjects you are going to study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cybersecurity, IoT, data Science, machine learning, and many more. Where the focus will be on (a) specialisation and Industry Certifications for 12 - 16 specialisation courses. (b) SEED Money: Upto Rs. 20,000/- per student for Designing a Programme/ Software/ Mobile App. An amount ofRs. 2 Lacs to Rs. 5 Lacs per project for Startup/ Entrepreneurial Venture and Upto Rs. 10000/- SEED Grant for Innovation/ Research activities. (c) Bootcamps/ Hackathons. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway elective that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur. Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my cousin brother has completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. B.Tech CSE programme is offered by numerous Universities across the country but only few offer this with unique curriculum and placements. As per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. LPU is absolutely best for B.Tech CSE. As this course provides good exposure to students both theoretically and practically. Apart from this, they provide special classes (Placement Classes) to built your qualities for best companies. If anyone wants to become an entrepreneur, there is exposure.
