Is it beneficial to do CA & ICMAI at the same time.What are merits and demarits of doing these courses at the same time?

I did my graduation from Burdwan University in B.com(Hons) by scoring 56%. I am also doing CA . Presently i have passed 1st group of IPCC and am doing Articleship now. i want to join ICMAI(Cost Accountant). Is it beneficial to me to join a new course.In 12th I have scored 72%.
