The curriculum for all the courses is also determined by BCI. To keep the students on top of the latest trends in the field of law, The School of Law takes initiatives to modify the curriculum as and when the need arises. Students have undergone internships at various High Courts, law firms, law chambers, commissions, corporate houses, and NGOs. The Alumni are working as Judicial officers, Legal practitioners, and Corporate advisors, and Civil servants. LPU believes that real learning takes place outside the classrooms. Therefore, students are encouraged to supplement their classroom learning by participating in Moot court and debate competitions that are organised for them. LPU Law students have gained recognition in Moot Court competitions held in various parts of the country. The university has also conducted Moot court competitions at a national level. I know abut the law department through one of my acquaintances who did law from LPU and is now a professional. School is ranked 24th amongst all Government and Private Universities in India according to NIRF. Studying by books is not a rule of Law. B.A. LL.B. At LPU. The university makes the most of the industry and academic experience of its faculty to prepare students to work effectively in the modern, complex and challenging legal environment. Experienced faculty-members recognize the potential of each individual and hone them. Law students are prepared to spot legal issues from a set of hypothetical facts and brainstorm various legal consequences, to be a perfect legal professional. The courses are approved by the Bar Council of India. The Career guidance magazine Higher Education Review has recognised Law School at Lovely Professional University among top-ten most promising institutions of India for its capability of producing next-gen legal professionals. The School of Law has an MOU with the NLSIU Bangalore (India's Top Law School) for student-faculty exchange, research, seminar, conference, curriculum development etc. School of Law has MOU with the Lawyered, aLegal services online platform. It is also associated with the Punjab State Legal Service Authority, Jalandhar and Kapurthala District Legal Service Authority, Punjab Police etc. The programme caters to the students with an interest to pursue legal education with social sciences to benefit society. Hello, I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommend that if you really want to make your career with good level of education then you should go for LPU. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and the Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. Even The School of Law is governed and regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and its curriculum is also provided by BCI. LPU provides Experiential learning by Regular Open House Discussions in order to generate awareness about contemporary issues to identify corresponding legal challenges and implications. Role plays on different cases to develop skills for argumentation and have better understanding of judgments. Students have experienced internships at various High Courts, law firms, law chambers, commissions, corporate houses, and NGOs.
