Surgical technicians, also known as surgical technologists, assist surgeons, nurses, and other members of the surgical team during surgical procedures. On the other hand, Anesthesia technicians work under the supervision of anesthesiologists to assist with the administration and monitoring of anaesthesia during surgical procedures.

Ultimately, the better choice depends on your personal preferences, career goals, and strengths. Researching each profession, speaking with professionals in the field, and possibly shadowing or volunteering in healthcare settings can help you make an informed decision.
