Is it better to become an aeronautical engineer or AME?

I want to know what is the difference between aeronautical engineer and AME.. Is it better to become an aeronautical engineer or AME?

Both the streams are part of aviation ?industry it depends on your interest which course u want to join...... Aeronautical engineering is about Designing and Developing the Aircrafts whereas Aircraft maintanence engineering is about Testing and Servicing of aircraft engines, airframes and systems
