Hi, Without any doubt, LPU is the best option for Agriculture. LPU becomes India's first Private University to get ICAR Accreditation. ICAR co-ordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of the Department of Agricultural Research & Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (Government of India), where Union Minister of Agriculture is its President. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 1 crore LPA, while many failed to do so. On an average the Agriculture students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 5.5 TO 6 LPA (Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that. Like I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided.

(Hons. ). Agriculture with GPAP of 3.72 Let me share the eligibility criteria for admission in B.Sc. Agriculture programme Eligibility Criteria: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English Physics Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
