Is it better to do Diploma in electical engineering or pursuing B.A(not in maths) if my aim is to give bank xams or pursue in MBA

There is a big confusion my father is saying to do diploma but my maths is not so gud but my father is saying that if u will practice you'll improve but i dont think so.. he is saying that there r many options available but i m really upset bcoz now admission in gud coachings r also closed plzz help
