Is it better to give a try for GATE 2014 to opt IIT for MTech or better to go with VIT for MTech in 2013

Hello, I'm Bhargav I completed my B.tech in 2012 wasted up a year tym but im serious with my masters degree but struck up. I like to know preparing for gate '14 for opting IIT is better or it's better to go with VIT this year.

What if you dont get through next year? I would suggest you go for VIT.Otherwise you can start working and prepare for gate for a year or so and then go for GATE
