It depends upon your interest whether you want to pursue MS/M.Tech or MBA after studying engineering. When it comes to salary time MBA have a better salary package. Don't just choose higher education due to peer pressure or family pressure. Let your aim decide what you have to pursue and then do it. Hope it helps.

It depends upon your interest. However, MBA and M Tech are both postgraduate degrees and have equal value in the job market. Your skills and work experience matter when it comes to who earns more. As every industry needs an MBA. When it comes to salary So, MBA has an upper hand. If you have an analytical and technical bent of mind are more suited for M.Tech and MS whereas, your aptitude for entrepreneurial and managerial skills is more suited for an MBA. So let your aim and fundamental choose your higher education degree. Do not choose a course to just be part of a 'flock'. I hope this will help you.

I think MBA degree is more demandable than M.Tech. If someone do M.Tech from a good University or out of India then it is valuable or else most of the companies prefer an MBA degree. Even though M.Tech is the most probable option after B Tech, a larger Percentage of engineering students choose MBA. But if you clear GATE and then you will do M.Tech from a good University or out of India then its valuable.
