i am doing diploma in civil engineering...from monad university....is it compulsory to be approved by aicte...?

Dear,
In your case yes, it need to be AICTE approved,
since you are doing a technical course and as mentioned by Harshdeep it need to be AICTE approved else UGC approval is enough,
