Is it compulsory for all to appear for LPUNEST entrance exam?

LPUNEST is not mandatory for all the programmes. For some programmes it is for eligibility as well as scholarship and for the others you can attempt it to avail scholarship.

Due to national lockdown, LPU has offered an online process of admission to his students. So, I suggest you to visit university website for more information.

No, for this programme LPUNEST is not mandatory. For availing maximum scholarship benefit you can apply for LPUNEST.

Hello MILI, LPUNEST is not mandatory for all the programmes. For some programmes it is for eligibility as well as scholarship and for the others you can attempt it to avail scholarship. It all depends on the course. FYI:- Admissions are opened in LPU. It is not compulsory to appear in LPUNEST, but it is compulsory for some of the courses like engineering, agriculture etc. for eligibility purpose, where a student get direct admission also on the bases of their marks in the last qualification. LPU provides more than 250 programmes wherein B.Com is among one of them. I would like to congratulate on this achievement. Furthermore, Commerce UG Programmes(like, B.Com, B.Com (H), Integrated B.Com, B.Com (MAIF))has been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. The programme focuses on Honours Elective courses along with regular B.Comcurriculum. Industry oriented courses like CMA, CIMA, ACCA are offered to the students along with regular B.Com curriculum so as to enhance employability. The eligibility varies from 50%-60% as for Honours and specialised programme the eligibility is little stringent. There is no test required to take admission in LPU but you can still appear in LPUNEST for scholarship. There are three slabs ranging from 30% to 50% depending upon the caliber of the student. With this percentage, you will get good percentage of scholarship. I will advise to take admission on or before 31-5-2020 to fetch good scholarship.

Dear Student, Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for B.Com is: Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. So, you need not appear in any test and you can apply for admission directly. But, if you want scholarship then you should apply for LPUNEST before 28th Feb 2018.
