LPUNEST is scholarship and eligibility specific. It serves two purposes.It totally depends on the programme you are going to take admission in. If programme eligibility says LPUNEST is mandatory then you need to appear for it otherwise it's your choice to appear for it in order to avail maximum scholarship throughout the degree.

As an alumni of LPU i would like to answer this question. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. Eligibility Criteria for Bcom is to Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. LPU also accepts Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scores for Eligibility. So, qualifying the Eligibility you can proceed for Admissions. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes. As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU NEST has been started for all the programmes for this current session I. e 2021. As far as Scholarship is concerned, the amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST. Also, there is no negative marking in this exam so chances of scoring well are more in this. In order to apply for the Exam, you can refer the following steps : 1 Register yourself on the portal 2. Hello, It depends on the programme. There are a lot of courses in lpu where LPU NEST is mandatory for the eligibility but in some courses, candidate can give LPU NEST just for scholarship purposes. Hello Mili Singh It depends on the programme you are applying to. Except for those programmes where it just serves as a scholarship test, most programmes where the qualifying LPUNEST serves as an eligibility and a scholarship test require it. I hope it's useful!
