Is it compulsory to appear for paper 2 of JEE Mains to get admitted in IIT Roorkee for B.Arch?

    Yes its compulsary to appear in paper 2 of mains.
    And more details i am pasting from my another answer:-
    First you have to appear in both paper 1 and paper 2 of jee main. And have to clear paper 1 and a min. score in paper 2 which is not hard to get. Then you will also have to qualify jee advance after that finally you have to appear for AAT (architecture aptitude test) you need to clear that too. You will get admission in IIT roorkee and khadagpur exclusively on the basis of AAT none other score will be counted.Good Luck.

    To get admission in IIT Roorker and also IIT Kharagpur for B.arch - you have necessary clear JEE paper 1 - then - JEE advance - then - AAT (architecture aptitude test).

    for IIT Roorkee u have to 1st qualify jee main paper-1 thn advance paper of paper-1 thn another xam conducted i.e AAT(architecture aptitude test).u also have to qualify AAT for IIT(KHARAGPUR & ROORKEE).paper-2 is not neccesary for IIT but for NIT,SPA,CFTI paper-2 is compulsory

    For studying BArch Courses in IITs, its compulsory to appear JEE Mains Paper 2. There's no other gateway.
