Is it compulsory to appear for the entrance exam to take admission in LPU for B.Com?

One of my known is studying same course in LPU, Reviews are quite good, so you can go for B.Com at LPU without any second thought, To take admission at LPU in B.Com you don't need to give any entrance exam. The eligibility is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent. You can apply for entrance exam I. e LPU NEST to avail maximum scholarship benefit. The programme has been designed to offer to eligible candidates specialisation in a wide range of managerial skills, while at the same time building competence in a particular area of business. Successful graduates of the course interested in pursuing further studies in the discipline may go for pursuing MBA or M.Com. Emphasis on case studies and Case-based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. &amp; For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) &amp; LPU also accepts Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scores for Eligibility. I am having my sister in Lovely Professional University, Punjab. She searched for the University on the basis of these parameters, Ranking, Exposure, Placements, Academics, and she seems to be satisfied while doing B.Com from LPU. Simran, no it is not compulsory to appear for entrance test for admission to B.Com. The eligibility is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent.
