Is it compulsory to appear in CAT or MAT exam in order to take admission in MBA program? Which are the best colleges in India to pursue MBA?

Hey Aditya, Best Business schools always consider a valid score in national level exams like CAT, MAT etc. if you want to take admission in some good college you either need to appear for any national level exam or their own entrance exam. thnku but confused i m from kurukshetra nd ek institue h near by MBA k liye but agr vaha se kro to utni value ni h MBA ki jitni reputed institute se h so it means yaha se MBA krna totally waste ??

Yes, entrances like cat, mat, xat etc are very much essential to appear and also to perform well to grab a seat in reputed colleges. Besides entrance score, past academic record, gd/pi, work experience carries certain weightages which varies from college to college. Appear well for cat/mat/xat. All

U just missed mat may. In september u can appear mat but this year there is no more chance. U can talk to some institutes if they arrange your gd/pi and accept september mat score. But i dont think it will work. U can give a try with my idea. All the best.

MAT exam duration is 120 minutes or 2 hours. Candidates have to solve 150 questions in the given time limit. There is no sectional time limit in MAT.

MAT exam is held multiple times in a year. There are four MAT phases- February, May, August and December. In each of these months, the exam is conducted at least twice – 1 PBT and 1 CBT.
