    No, you are not required to appear in both MP TET Paper 1 & 2. You can appear in either Paper 1 or 2 depending on your desired teaching level. The MP TET test is divided into two papers: Paper 1 is for those who wish to teach Classes I to V. Paper 2 is for those who want to teach Classes VI to VIII. Candidates who wish to teach Class I to VIII must appear in both Paper 1 & Paper 2. Candidates can appear in Paper 1 & 2 according to their teaching preferences. For instance, if you want to teach Classes 1 to 5, you can appear in only Paper 1. Similarly, if you wish to teach Classes 6 to 8, you can appear only in Paper 2.
