    No, there is no such criteria that student has to attend both the exams as it totally depends on the student as what all exams he/she wants to give. Also, if you want to get admission in B.Tech/BE, then you can choose paper 1 only, but if you are interested in B.Arch along with B.Tech, then you can go for both the exams. Hope this helps.
