It is compulsory to give CAT exam for doing MBA in IIMs. Without CAT it is not possible to get into IIMs. The required cutoff ranges from 96-100 percentile. You will get a weak IIM with 96 percentile and a good one with 99.80-100 percentile like IIM-A, B or C. CMAT exam is accepted only in AICTE app

Greetings, Yes, for IIMs you have to score good percentile in CAT. IIMs do not accept any other entrance exam result. CMAT score is not acceptable.

Yes, it's compulsory to appear in CAT and score significantly high to get a seat in IIM. CMAT is acceptable in other MBA colleges, like KJ Somaiya, etc.

No, taking the CAT Exam is mandatory if you want to get into an IIM for an MBA degree. Most of the students aim for the top Iims such as IIM Ahmedabad, CMAT is acceptable in other MBA colleges, like KJ Somaiya, etc.

For IIMS, a score in CAT is considered. CMAT scores are not eligible to apply.

Hi. Rajesh. For getting chance into the college like Iims you should have to clear the CAT exam only with high score along with cracking the interview round. Giving the CAT exam in order to pursue an MBA/PGDM at an IIM is required. It is impossible to enroll in IIMs without taking the CAT. CMAT is acceptable in other Top AICTE approved MBA/PGDM colleges like GIBS Bangalore, etc.

CMAT is not acceptable by any of the IIMs. You have to take CAT in order to secure admission into any of the IIMs.
