Is it compulsory to clear CTET for the position of PGT teacher?

    Hi,
    CTET mean central teacher eligibility test. CTET organized by Central government for the Central Government school. TET mean Teacher Eligibility Test but TET is organized by State Government for Government sponsored school or some state government school.
    To become a PGT government teacher you must have a B.Ed. After completing B.Ed. you will not get government job in schools because your B.Ed. will get completed when you give CTET (Teacher Eligibility Test).
    But, in some cases students who do not pursue B.Ed. also get PGT government jobs. For this, NCERT and other state board government recruit the PGT teachers on the basis of the w
