Is it compulsory to clear the CAT exam for admission?

    It's not compulsory that it should be CAT.
    If you clear any of the below mentioned criteria, you are eligible to apply in Christ University:
    A composite score of 600 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September / December 2016 / February 2017
    OR
    a composite score of 450 or above in GMAT 2016
    OR
    70 percentile or above in the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT December 2016 / January 2017)
    OR
    70 percentile or above in the Common Admission Test 2016 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs)
    OR
    70 percentage or above in the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) 2017
    OR
    70 pe

    No. MAT and CMAT will also work

    Your question is not that much clear that what you wish to ask, but from what you said I can make it out like u want to ask that is it compulsory to clear cat before MBA. So the answe is no as many colleges have their personalised exam that take it and tell you the result in 1-2 says
