It's not compulsory that it should be CAT. If you clear any of the below mentioned criteria, you are eligible to apply in Christ University: A composite score of 600 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September / December 2016 / February 2017 OR a composite

Your question is not that much clear that what you wish to ask, but from what you said I can make it out like u want to ask that is it compulsory to clear cat before MBA. So the answe is no as many colleges have their personalised exam that take it and tell you the result in 1-2 says
