Is it compulsory to crack JEE to get into a private engineering college? What will be the fees? I have scored 70% in 12th.

If that particular college asks JEE Mains score for admission then you need to crack JEE Mains to get into that particular private college. It depends on students opting for that college whether 70% is fine to get into it or not.
