    It is not mandatory to have prior job experience if you are doing MBA in India. But, if you have experience, it would definitely help you while you do your MBA. It will help you apply things better than a fresher. If you have experience before doing MBA, during MBA final placements you stand to get better placements with better packages.

    Hi,
    It's not compulsory to have some work experience to pursue MBA in finance but it's preferable as it gives you an edge over others. But for part-time or executive MBA programmes, you need the prescribed work experience.
