Hello, CAT is compulsory only if you want to get admission into all the IIMS and some top non-IIMS like SP Jain, FMS, MDI, etc. You can give other exams too like XAT CMAT NMAT, SNAP IIFT CET, etc. As per your convenience and the choice of your dream colleges which accept those scores. No, it is not at all compulsory to give entrance exam or CAT exam to get admission in MBA. There are some colleges in India which offer MBA admission directly so you can take admission directly without giving an entrance exam. Hope this helps you. Be free to share any problem.
