Is it compulsory to give CAT test for NIFT exam (fashion communication) because my art is very poor?

I didn't opt for art as a subject in HSC.

    Yes you will have to appear for both; CAT (Creative Ability Test) as well as GAT (General Ability Test). These are followed by a situation test. You can find a detailed information about the exam by visiting this page https://www.shiksha.com/design/exams/nift-entrance-exam.
