Is it compulsory to give entrance exams to be an air hostess?

There is always a selection process which may or may not include entrance exam but an interview always a part of such process. Every airline has got its own format of selecting the candidates for cabin crew position. Interview, Group Discussion, Medicals etc. Are some inseparable parts of such selection process. -
