Is it compulsory to give foundation course for a B.Com graduate to enter IPCC?

To make a career in CA, a student was earlier supposed to apply after 12th standard to the ICAI institute and after registering with the ICAI was supposed to give a CPT exam. Now the CPT name has changed to CA foundation course. Earlier, a student who has completed a graduate degree was also supposed to give a CPT exam. But from August 2012, ICAI has made changes in the entry-level scheme for the graduate students. A graduate student can apply for the CA course under Direct Entry Scheme and get an admission for the IPCC group after registering with the ICAI. Hi,
CPT ( as CA foundation) there are available options to go next step (I.e. IPCC) without giving the exam or without taking registration in CPT you can take admission in IPCC and give exam direct. Just you have to score 55% or more in graduation / diploma degree course. If you score such marks than yes you can directly eligible for IPCC.
