No it is not compulsory. They give admission on other basis too.

You can also take admission here by appearing in LPU NEST entrance exam.

The JEE Mains score is considered in LPU, but if you have not qualified there or have not appeared than you can always go for the LPU NEST entrance exam and qualify it to get admission.
