Is it compulsory to have B.Sc biotechnology to appear for biotechnology paper in IIT JAM exam?

I am doing B.Sc chemistry, botany and zoology.

    Hello,
    It is mandatory to have B.Sc in biotechnology, if the candidate has to apply for biotechnology paper in IIT JAM. As you have chemistry as a subject in B.Sc, you can apply for IIT JAM chemistry exam.
