Is it compulsory to have commerce subjects in 12th board for BBA? Is admission direct or any exam based?

Hello,
For admissions into BBA courses, students are needed to clear the 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board or school with 50%. The age should be between 17 to 25 years.
There is no such entrance exam.
