No, maths is not compulsory for BA (Hons).

Hi Pratima,

Hi Pratima,
No, its not necessary at all. Your compulsory subject is only English and you must secure 60% to apply for B.A. English Honors in St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. Revert me back for any further details.

I don't think that in order to get admission in B.A. English Honors Maths is required as compulsory subject in 10+2. Still I would like to suggest you that better once contact with college and clarify.
