Yes it is mandatory as per the new rules. Earlier IP University was allowing it but from this session it is compulsory and if you have maths in +2 then you will hardly face any problem in BCA because it has majority of what we learnt in +2 mathematics. -
Most of university require maths , informatics practice or computer science in class 12th for BCA programme and that is also applicable in Amity University as a eligibility for BCA admission.

Yes! Maths is Mandatory! But u can go for commerce group with business maths. And you can do your BCA.
Comparing to biology or computer science you can move for commerce group. -
