There are plenty of great b-schools in India (including the IIMs) that welcome freshers.

It depends on what type of MBA are you planning to opt for. Work experience is not compulsory if you plan to do a full-time MBA/MMS/PGDM but it is preferable as it will give you an edge over other students. If you plan for an executive MBA or a part-time MBA then you need to have the prescribed years of work experience.

No, it's not but having experience will provide candidate an edge over other competitors in getting admission in good B-School and for final placement. -

8 years agoNo, work experience is not compulsory for pursuing MBA. Though, It is mandatory for pursuing MBA executive programs.
