There are plenty of great b-schools in India (including the IIMs) that welcome freshers.
If you have little to no work experience, you can still get an MBA. Early career MBA programs, for instance, equip you with the expertise and network for a successful first step into the professional world. You might also consider a deferred MBA program.

It depends on what type of MBA are you planning to opt for. Work experience is not compulsory if you plan to do a full-time MBA/MMS/PGDM but it is preferable as it will give you an edge over other students. If you plan for an executive MBA or a part-time MBA then you need to have the prescribed years of work experience.

8 years agoNo, work experience is not compulsory for pursuing MBA. Though, It is mandatory for pursuing MBA executive programs.
