    No it's not compulsory for any of the students. You can live outside that's all on your choice.
    I will suggest you to live in college hostel.

    Hi Ruchika. Its not compulsory to live in hostel but i will suggest you to stay in hostel because it will be easy for you to carry on your daily activities from hostel as it is near to college only 50m away. Also it will a hectic one year in college leaving in hostel with classmate it will release your stress also will help you in study.
