Yes, if you want to take admission in a government engineering college, you need to qualify JEE Mains exam. It is also necessary for getting admission in few of the private engineering colleges. -
Yes, it is. Basically these entrance exams are conducted so that creamy students are filtered. That is why they are accepted by most prestigious institutions. In order to get a good college you have to clean them. In case you don't want to then there is other way out. Enroll in a normal college and polish any technology. You will land up in a good job.
