Is it compulsory to qualify LPUNEST in order to get admission in LPU for B.Tech?

Well, being one of the most sought after professions in India and around the world, a career in engineering gives immense job satisfaction if you have the flair for it. In order to take admission into B.Tech degree in LPU you need to qualify the eligibity criteria. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering. English Physics Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Biotech and rest all same For Chemical English Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and rest all same. LPU NEST cut off scores varies with different domains of B.Tech. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1.1. Scholarship: Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. Hi, Due to the current situation I. e. COVID-19, the eligibility criteria is a bit relaxed. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. On inquiring for one of my niece from the counsellors of LPU, I came to know that in order to take admission in LPU you have to be eligible and eligibility is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. You will be happy to know that LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. Not only this, the Engineering institutes have also been ranked top 100 amongst all other Engineering institute which is a matter of proud. You can join LPU by appearing in LPU NEST which is remotely online proctored test which will be conducted from home due to COVID-19. I also heard that LPU do offer scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students: 1. On the basis of marks in previous class 2. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship 3. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE etc. 4. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities. 5. Board Toppers 6. As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. You can take admission as per the eligibility on the LPU website. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. They follow these things and result is lot of deserved and eligible students got the best places. Moreover, LPU has Best Lifestyle and university Life.
