    • No, it's not compulsory to stay in the hostel at GIBS Business School, Bangalore—you can choose to stay off-campus if you prefer.
    • Also, GIBS is a private institute and is not affiliated with Bangalore University. It offers autonomous PGDM and BBA programs approved by AICTE.

No, it's not compulsory to stay in the hostel at GIBS Bangalore. If you prefer, you can stay in a nearby PG or rented flat—GIBS is flexible and even helps students find good accommodation outside the campus.

Also, GIBS is affiliated with Bangalore University for its BBA program, so the degree is officially recognized. For the PGDM program, it is approved by AICTE, which is the national body that approves top management programs in India. So both programs are well-recognized, just under different authorities.

No, staying in a hostel at GIBS isn't compulsory. You can choose to stay in GIBS-provided hostel or find your own accommodation nearby—it's completely up to you.

Yes, GIBS Business School, Bangalore offers a BBA programme that's affiliated with Bangalore University. Its PGDM (which is equivalent to an MBA) is AICTE-approved, not university-affiliated

    So in simple terms:

    • You don't have to stay in a hostel—it's your choice.

    • The BBA degree is from Bangalore University.

    • The PGDM is approved by AICTE, making it valid and respected for MBA-level education.

    Hope this helps!

Hello! Regarding your question, staying in the hostel is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended for students. Being a part of the hostel provides access to various extracurricular activities that take place outside of class hours. We strongly advise all students to consider staying in the hostel and participate in all the activities that are available to them.

In GIBS B-School Bangalore Hostel is not compulsory but it is advisable to stay inside the college campus hostel so that they can interact with other activities and acquires bits of knowledge besides studies. Global Institute of Business Studies (GIBS) Bangalore is the only B-School that consistently ranks as the finest just because of the assistance it provides to its students. This Institution students are extremely well-behaved and knowledgeable in their disciplines. This is only achievable if the college recognises the importance of the students. Students are aware of the importance of their work.
