    No, it is not mandatory to write CMAT exam for MBA entrance. You can appear for other exams too like CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA or SNAP to get into premiere B-schools.

    It's not compulsory that you have to give CMAT exam as there are other entrance exams like CAT, XAT, SNAP, etc. Some institutes have their own entrance exams and you have to score at least 85% for getting an admission in a decent institute. You can take coaching classes from Career Launcher, TIME as these are some of the best coaching institutes to prepare for an entrance exams.
