IELTS coaching is not compulsory (however, they are important as they provide a structured preparation) because there is a wealth of online resources available for self-study. Without taking coaching programmes, many people have successfully studied for the IELTS exam. Study guides, practice tests, sample questions, and exam-section advice are all available online.
