Is it compulsory to take coaching to get high marks in CAT?

It is not compulsory to take coaching for CAT to be in IIMs. But people do opt for it for better guidance, concept clarity by expert faculties and may be to maintain a regularity in their efforts to crack CAT. Also when u clear CAT these institutes provide u classes on how to prepare for GD and
