No, it is not compulsory, only PCM is compulsory to join the B.Tech. The admission to B.Tech/BE programme after your XIIth Sc with PCM will be based on your performance in the engineering entrance Examination. So, start the preparation alongwith your XI/XII for various entrance examination than only
