Is it compulsory to write entrance exam for part time MBA as well?

It is not compulsory in all MBA institutes Rishikesh, as rightly guided by @Prof Garain, but then if you can get into a more reputed institute on the basis of CAT percentile then it would add value to your cv and would make job search comparatively easier.

Yes. Most good MBA institutes have entrance exam even for its part time courses. You need to check with teh institute of your choice.
