Is it compulsory to write the entrance test if I want to pursue fashion designing from LPU? What is its fee including hostel & mess charges?

    LPU provides Diploma and degree in fashion designing:
    1. Diploma In fashion
    2. B.Sc. (Fashion Design)- 3 Years
    .3. B. Design (Fashion Design)- 4 Years
    3. Post Graduation M.Sc. Design/M. Design 2 years
    Eligibility is depend on the programme you choose but as per the current scenario of national lockdown, the entrance test is exempted so you can take direct admission as per the qualifying eligibility of the course. Fees is also depends on the course example the fees of B.Sc. and B. design in fashion Design is RS 98000 per semester.     Fashion design is the art of applying design, aesthetics and natural beauty to clothing and its accessories. As per LPU website, LPU NEST is not mandatory for eligibility purpose as the minimum eligibility criteria (Qualifying Exam) is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent.     The eligibility criteria is passed with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPU NEST or UCEED. According to eligibility criteria, either you have to qualify LPU NEST (LPU's entrance exam) or you have to qualify UCEED.     The eligibility criteria is passed with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPU NEST or UCEED. According to eligibility criteria, either you have to qualify LPU NEST (LPU's entrance exam) or you have to qualify UCEED.     In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. The eligibility criteria of this programme:- Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (With English) or equivalent. Therefore LPU NEST is not a mandate but you can still appear the same for scholarship purpose. LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarship can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU. Dear, For a B.P.Ed course in LPU, anybody who holds a degree in any discipline and has an aggregate mark of not less than 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) and participated in inter-college, zonal, district, or school-level sports competitions recognised by AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India is eligible.
