Is it correct to leave studies for 3 years to learn singing?

No, this is definitely not a good choice. As singing does not offer you a sure shot career. I would suggest you pursue a correspondence course simultaneously if you don't wish to go for a regular one. You can learn singing in the mean-time and do not lose 3 years. -

Knowledge and the art of singing is one of them.Opt for both, studies as well as singing.
Reason:For a good mind and sharp memory you have to remember facts and solve math for a good reasoning mind.
For singing, you need dedication and clear melodious voice that suits the listeners.
Both of them are professionalism and art.
leaving studies for 3 years can be done only if you are assure that your voice is best of the best and you can win millions of people's hearts.
