    The difficulty of IELTS examination is neither easy nor extremely tough. It depends upon the preparation level of the candidate. Each section focuses on one aspect. The examination has four sections - Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Each section focuses on candidate's Ability in targeting the required operation in English Language. Let's discuss about the difficulty level of each section individually: 

    • Speaking -  Candidates tend to deviate from topic while speaking in the examination, this should be kept in mind.

    The IELTS exam is difficult for candidates who come unprepared to take the exam. IELTS test takers looking to take the IELTS exam are required to focus on speaking, listening, writing and reading skills in the English language.

    Candidates who practice speaking English regularly will find the IELTS English-speaking section easy. In the IELTS listening section, candidates are required to listen to what is being said and then answer the questions.     Hi,
    If you have studied English as part of School/University, and can comfortably handle language in everyday situations, IELTS is not challenging at all. However, preparation is the key. Because it involves understanding format and exam rules. Also you should know why exactly you are taking up the exam as it will help you GET an idea about the minimum eligibility for overall IELTS and each of the categories of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. You might want to move to another country, or do your studies etc. Minimum eligibility varies based on reason, country and college too sometimes. Take about 3 months - 5 months to prepar
