Is it easy to get admission in Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology?

<p>The institutes may have their own separate admission process, due to which some IHMs accept students, whereas others may not. It all depends upon a specific IHM, for there are hundreds of them, one located all over the entire country, like IHM Pusa, IHM Mumbai, IHM Bangalore, etc.</p><p># *Admission Process &amp; Difficulty Level:*<br>1. B.Sc. in Hospitality &amp; Hotel Administration (B.Sc. HHA)<br>Through NCHMCT JEE examinations. These entrance tests are also conducted by NCHMCT, the National Council for Hotel Management &amp; Catering Technology.<br>Quite competitive. This depends on your preparation to get admission. Not so competitive unless one is in the good IHMs, of course, for example, at New Delhi like IHM Pusa, in Mumbai, and Bangalore. So not so when one is badly ranked IHM.<br>2. For Diploma &amp; Certificate Courses<br>Diploma and certificate courses are available for food production, bakery, housekeeping, and F&amp;B services.<br>Generally, admission is direct or merit-based (based on 12th marks).<br>Difficulty Level: Easy to moderate, depending on the popularity of the course and institute too.<br>3. Admission to M.Sc. in Hospitality Administration<br>Based on NCHMCT JEE, or direct selection by some IHMs.<br>Difficulty Level: Moderate<br>Admission Factors:<br>NCHMCT JEE score &amp; rank for B.Sc. course Category, which category falls in General/OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwD, quotas available IHM one may get through (The scope of getting a Top IHM is very small) Seats Available</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
