The institute is affiliated to the Mumbai University and hence follows all the rules and regulations regarding admissions as decided by policy of Mumbai University. Basically the admissions are based on the common entrance test conducted by the State Government of Maharashtra for admissions to all similar courses across the state. In addition to conducting the examination the directorate of technical education of the Government of Maharashtra also conducts centralised admission process where in students are required to register on the special website created and give their choices of different institutes in which they seek admission.
