Admission to the B.Sc. in Bioinformatics in Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Engineering and Technology is quite easy. The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or Biology with an aggregate of 60% marks minimum. There is an internal entrance test, but requirements are not as stringent as for more competitive programs. In principle, though the whole point of the eligibility requirements is that the general procedure for the admissions process tends to be more lenient so as to make entrance into the programme easier for the student.
