Admission to the VIT Vellore B.Tech course is based on the VITEEE score. VIT Engineering Entrance Exam is a computer-based test conducted for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The VITEEE question paper consists of 125 questions. The questions will be based on Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.

Another route is via the VITEEE exam, where selection is based on the entrance marks secured in the exam. For NRI and foreign candidates, admission criteria include completing 12 years of schooling with specific subjects and minimum aggregate marks. The selection process involves merit-based admission or applying through VITEEE-2024, with different procedures for NRI/Fo

No — VIT-AP does not admit or offer free seat under EAPCET counselling and you cannot admit to VIT-AP without VITEEE (or management quota).
The clear explanation is described below:

 1. Is VIT-AP EAMCET/ EAPCET rankable?
No.
VIT-AP does not engage in Andhra Pradesh EAPCET counselling.
They do not believe in EAMCET ranks to B.Tech admissions.

The admissions of VIT-AP are largely by way of:

VITEEE (compulsory in merit seats of B.Tech)

Direct/Management quota (increased fee)

Scholarships depend on the VITEEE ranking / board marks (unlimited)

Your EAPCET rank is therefore not accepted to be admitted to VIT-AP.
